Agentix vs a social media manager or agency: which to choose to sell through social media
We compare four ways to run a business's social media: cost, who does the work, and whether you can see which post brought in money. Market figures come from public 2026 sources, linked at the end of the page.
In short: an in-house social media manager in the US earns about $71,000 a year, roughly $5,900 a month before payroll taxes and benefits. Freelancers charge $500–3,000 a month and agency packages run $2,000–10,000+. The Agentix subscription is $98 a month plus credits for videos and AI sales agent replies, and you or a hired GTM engineer run the platform.

When to choose what
Agentix is not for everyone. Here is when another option is a better fit, on its own or alongside the platform.
You need paid ads
Ad setup and ad account management come with the top agency packages. If paid ads are your main sales channel, start with an agency.
You need on-site video
Event coverage or filming your workshop or team takes a person with a camera. Agentix makes videos with avatars created from a photo, without a shoot.
You already have a strong social media manager
Keep them. The subscription assumes you or your marketer manage the work on the platform: your manager gets the content plan, avatars, the AI sales agent and post statistics in one workspace.
You have no time to run it yourself
Hire a GTM engineer through Agentix (from $750 a month) or choose Media System, our done-for-you service: for 4 months the Agentix team builds and runs your social media sales, then hands the knowledge base, templates and instructions over to your team. A $2,500 first payment, then $2,000 a month.
